Privacy Policy

I think your personal piracy is very important and I want to reassure you that this website is not designed to capture any personal information you don’t want to give. So I’m going to let you know about the information we do gather in what we do with it.

When you visit this site, your computer sends a number known as the IP address to us. Every time you connect to the Internet, your computer is given an IP address so that it can communicate with websites and other computers. This IP address does not identify you as an individual, is just used as a method of communicating over the Internet. I collect this information so that I can understand more about my visitors, such as the countries they come from and which kinds of information they find interesting on the website. But it doesn’t tell me who is visiting the site will give me any way of contacting them against their will.

Basically I use this information to improve the website, so if I find a lot of people are visiting from a certain country, then I will try to do a provide information that is of relevance to them. I might even translate some of the text into their local language (or likely I’d hire someone to do this because I can only speak English).

I would never think of selling this information to anyone, and to be honest I doubt I could find anyone that would be interested in buying it, even if I was so minded, because this is a very small site and this kind of information is really only valuable to the site owner.

From time to time I might review some different products that are for sale on the Internet on this website. In some cases I may be paid a referral fee for sending people to buy these products. In this case, I use the money gained to offset the cost of running this site, so that I can continue to provide a free service to all my visitors.
